Pet Adoption/Rescue

Pet Adoption/Rescue Groups

ABC Pet Clinic is proud to work with several different local rescue groups. These groups rescue animals that have been at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation. With the help of animal welfare agencies like these, many homeless animals in need can be adopted and have a new start at life. Consider adopting or fostering from the following agencies listed below.

TRI VALLEY ANIMAL RESCUE

TVAR is a non-profit, volunteer rescue organization. TVAR’s mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of homeless animals. Check out their website for locations on weekly adoption events.

FERAL CAT FOUNDATION

The Feral Cat Foundation (FCF) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose primary mission is to help people live with the feral and forgotten cats and kittens in the communities of Alameda and Contra Costa counties of northern California.

SAFE CAT FOUNDATION

Safe Cat Foundation, a California based non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, was formed to address the needs of domestic cats with medical conditions that are at risk in our local shelters. They provide education and advocacy for various health and safety issues that affect cats in the home, the wild and in shelters.
